A BIT ABOUT ME

Hi!

I'm Christa McConnell, wedding and lifestyle photographer. One of my main passions in life is photography. When I am not taking pictures, I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing with my family's dachshunds, and going on backpacking trips. My love for photography started when my mom gave me a pink barbie camera when I was 6 years old. I would photograph anything and everything that I could. Barbies and stuffed animals needed head shots too! And while I may have cropped a few heads off and zoomed way too close, passions have to start somewhere! As my passion for photography grew, I knew that it was what I wanted to do as a career. I pursued my passion by getting my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Today my subjects are no longer Barbies and stuffed animals, and I have gotten a lot better with cropping and zooming. I now have the privilege of being a professional photographer who cares about my clients and loves photography so much that it shows in everything that I do.
